Happy Friday. With a happy Friday comes a happy post. Not only is this post happy it’s absolutely adorable. When Eric and I moved to Norwood a little over three years ago I had a hard time adjusting. I felt like we were total outsiders in this very townie town. A lot of people might think that sounds harsh, but Norwood is literally in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the most people born and raised never leave. I learned that very quickly. After a few months of walking the dog around and meeting an awesome couple across the street from us, Tiller and I walked by Laura and Trevor’s house. Trevor was outside working on his porch and I stopped to chat…. Because that’s what I do. That night Laura and Trevor along with Patty and Rich came over and we hung out by the fire talking for hours. From that night on Norwood became home. Having a group of awesome friends has made such a difference. Over the years we have gotten to know Laura and Trevor pretty well. When they announced they were having a baby Eric and I weren’t shocked. We totally already knew. There were too many “fire pit Fridays” that Laura was drinking the same glass of wine that just never finished or the same Corona that never emptied. But we also weren’t shocked because we knew they were meant to be parents. They would be the BEST parents. If you know these two you know they just always have their stuff together. And I was right. These two in the small about of time that baby A has been here have been so amazing. I am so excited to have a new addition to the neighborhood and a new member to fire pit Friday. I am so excited for you guys and I can’t wait to watch this little guy grow!
