Amber + Anthony

November 20, 2017

This weekend was a weekend that I totally needed. It was my first weekend home in either six or seven weeks. I have been traveling for weddings and also personal stuff for what feels like forever. To be able to wake up in my own bed was beyond anything I could have asked for. I spent the weekend hanging out with friends and family (along with two shoots but that’s okay). I have four more weddings this season so this little break is just what the doctor ordered to get me through the final few weddings of the year.

I know I am going to get emotional typing this blog post because I love Amber and Anthony so much. They weren’t a couple that came into my studio and I fell in love with them right away. In fact we never met until their engagement session (which is where we became BFF’s). To make things even more crazy is that they were between me and another photographer. The other photographer is super talented so I was very honest with Amber. I seriously told her no matter who she ended up booking she would get killer photos. Luckily for me they chose me. Not only because their wedding was great, but I made a new friend out of it. I pretty much talked to Amber weekly after they booked me. Not only about wedding stuff but about skiing, diets and all sorts of stuff. She is the type of person that you want as a friend. Amber and Anthony are the type of people that make me love my job. They are so appreciative of everything you do for them. They make you smile and have fun. We put so much into the timeline for their wedding that when the day came everything went so smoothly and perfect. They listened to everything I proposed to them and were up for anything. I swear the day was literally a blast and so stress-free. When it came time for me to leave their wedding I was super sad. I literally didn’t want to leave. BUT the best part about Amber and Anthony is that I know I will see them again. I cant wait to ski with them and grab a few drinks after. UGH GUYS I cant thank you enough for being so amazing. You two have so much amaziness ahead of you and I hope I get to be a part of it. See you soon up north!!
