I can’t tell you how many people say to me “wow being a photographer is awesome. You have the best job”. Luckily I agree with that statement. But, what I don’t think people realize is how much stress and pressure comes with being a photographer. Most of it we put on ourselves, but I guess that is what makes us good photographers. I think most people just think of it as working for yourself and not having to sit in a cube from 9AM – 5PM. Those are totally perks about owning your own photography company but there is so much more that is hard, stressful, scary and exhausting. Lucky for me I have an amazing group of friends that I have met over the years who have kept me in check and kept me focused. One of those girls is Suz. Suz is the owner of Suzanna March Photography and she kills it. She is one of those photographers that I look at and use to push myself to up my game. We met six years ago and have been good friends ever since. We have made some pretty epic memories over the years. Along with those amazing memories and times we have had come the not so hot memories. We have each other’s backs and I know I can call her at any hour and she will pick up the phone. Suz is one of the first people I think to call when I am having massive anxiety (sorry girl). She is not just a photography friend, she is a friend. And one of my closest friends at that. Suz you are beautiful inside and out and I am super honored to take these photos for you :) And on that note…. after sitting here looking at her editing for the last few hours I am off to the gym to make myself feel better.
