I know it seems weird that I am about to ask how your weekend was and its Wednesday, but honestly WHERE IS THIS WEEK GOING. It is October and all I can say is “October 1… Molly 0”. I have been shooting almost every night, meeting with potential clients on nights where I am not shooting and my weekends are slammed with amazing weddings. I will say that I had this passed weekend off. Its the first time since I can remember that I had Columbus Day off. Eric, Tiller and I headed North and I got to enjoy some R&R. The foliage was so breathtaking and again, I cant remember the last time I have been able to sit back and really take in the beauty. I am BEYOND grateful that I had this weekend to take a break, a few deep breaths and soak in some beautiful fall. I am not going to lie, it is REALLY hard for me to shut off, so while I was enjoying some time away I was thinking about all the work waiting for me. The thing on the top of my list was Shannon and Ben, so without going on anymore I am going to dive right into it.

I am going to warn you that I am going to take a second to gush over these two. From the moment I met them I knew I would like them, but it wasnt until their engagement session that I knew we were going to be friends. These two are a couple that I can see myself being friends with. Being around them makes you happy. They remind me why I love what I do and what it is about photography that I makes my heart sing. Shannon and Ben make me laugh, they make me smile and the day of their wedding they made me cry. There was so much emotion on their wedding day (a good amount coming from Ben… sorry to call you out) that no mater who you are you couldn’t hold it in. Emotion is something that cant be directed. I can help bring it out of people but its really the connection between two people that brings it out. These two have such a bond and strong connection it is so easy to capture real/candid/authentic emotion. Their friends and families are so blessed to have them in their lives, and Shannon and Ben are who they are because of these amazing people. I am so grateful that I was your wedding photographer and I am even more grateful that I have you guys as friends now. Love you both, and Ill text you in a few ;)
