Nicole & Jason

December 11, 2017

Dear Monday,

Normally I like you. My typical Monday involves running errands, exporting memory cards and having a “me” day. Today is NOT a typical Monday. I didn’t rush into my studio, but I was here by 9:30. Since then NOTHING is working. Literally everything I touch breaks or won’t work. It has taken me an insane amount of time to edit an engagement session that should NOT have taken this long. Also it is below zero in my studio and the heat is SO loud it sounds like a UFO is landing on the roof, yet its freezing in here. I literally had such an amazing Friday, Saturday and Sunday that I knew today would be rough, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHY IS NOTHING WORKING. On that note, Monday, we are on longer friends.

Moving on to some good karma. Nicole and Jason are pretty amazing and I am so thankful that I have been looking/editing their faces all day because it’s the only thing bringing me joy and calmness. I booked these two without meeting them. Again, it’s not something I normally do, but I had a good feel about them. We chatted a few times and each time I started to like them more and more. We met up at a little pub in Gloucester before our session and before I knew it the sun was going down and I couldn’t believe how long we had spent just hanging out laughing. When we got to the beach that Nicole picked I literally was in love. My jaw dropped. For all of you that know me and know how I am when I am at a location that I love, you know I run around like an ADHD/OCD child yelling “omg look at this light. Come over here… wait no stay there. No over there”. Then I start running saying “wait one more over here. No, there, wait here”. That was me on their shoot. I was DYING. Everywhere I looked I was in love. And the fact that I was in love with them made it even better. I honest to god could have pitched a tent, made a bonfire and hung out with these two at this spot all night. We had SO SO much fun. Well, I mean I did and I think they did, but I will let them speak for themselves. I can NOT wait for their wedding next summer. If it is anything like their engagement session it will be magic. And because we had to reschedule their session THREE times because of crazy storms I am feeling pretty confident they will be A-OK on their wedding day for weather! MISS YOU GUYS XO
