I need to start off by saying how tired I am. Like literally exhausted. I was up super late last night watching the Olympics. I have been trying to catch pieces of it here and there but last night I got hooked. Damn you Michael Phelps. I was obsessed with watching him. AND tonight he goes for his fifth gold in individuals. I mean really? Is he even human? I cant imagine being SO good at something. And can we talk about his fiance? Shes a hot mama? Am I right?? I know I am. Anyway, today I am paying for it. I also think this heat/humidity is making me sleepy. I refuse to leave the house. I’m not even going to my studio. Being on the third floor of an old brick mill building with NO AC and only two windows that open seems like a really bad idea!!
Meet Casey and Nick. I actually met them for the first time at their engagement session. We opted to do a sunrise session in Newport and thank god we did. Turns out we picked the Sunday of Folk Fest. It would have been INSANELY busy if we had done it around 6. As it was there was a kid sleeping on the beach when we pulled up to start shooting. Literally there was a guy curled up in a sheet on the beach. YIKES! These two were so beyond lovely. The way they interact together was so amazing and its what you dream of as a photographer. They were so tuned into each other that they just meshed together and I never had to give them an ounce of direction. It was just amazing. THANK GOD Eric was with me for this one because I needed some assistance with a reflector, so thanks Eric! Here are a few of my favorites from their early early morning session! Side note… who looks like this at 6AM in the morning? Casey does, that’s who!
